Tomy Yunus Tjen is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cakap. He obtained a bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Bina Nusantara University (2009) and a master's degree in Economics from Renmin University of China (2012).

Tomy was determined to have a significant and positive impact through education in Indonesia and even the world by establishing SquLine in 2014. The idea of SquLine started from the idea of making learning languages directly from native speakers to be more practical, affordable, and flexible.

In 2019, Tomy decided to change the name 'SquLine' to 'Cakap' as we know it now. Hopefully, this change of name can reflect the commitment to continue growing and focusing on creating a positive social impact for the people of Indonesia.

Yohan Limerta is the Co-Founder and CTO of Cakap. After achieving his Bachelor's of Information Technology at Deakin University, Australia, Yohan pursued Chinese Literature at the Beijing Chinese Language and Culture College. Then, together with his colleague, Tomy Yunus, Yohan founded Squline in 2013, an interactive online learning platform that connected students with teachers from multiple countries.

In 2019, however, Squline transformed into Cakap. With Yohan and his team's hard work and dedication, Cakap was awarded by MURI as the First Online Language Learning Platform with Two-way and Direct Interactions. On top of that, our application has now been downloaded by more than 500,000 people. Cakap has now reached students in 34 provinces in Indonesia.

Jonathan joined Cakap in June 2020 as the Chief Business Officer and is responsible for growing revenue, partnership strategies, and new business initiatives. He is also in charge of corporate development and fundraising activities. Prior to joining Cakap, he spent 11 years working in investment and business development related positions in several local and multinational enterprises, namely: MNC Group, DBS, IndoGen Capital, and Prasetia. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Professional Accounting from Macquarie University, Australia.

Margarita is known for her five-year experience in the EdTech industry. However, not many people know that she started her professional career as a Graphic Designer. With this passion for design and art, she manages to lead Cakap's Growth team and is now responsible for the business development, digital marketing optimization, activations, and branding communications. Aligned with Cakap's vision to elevate people's lives, Margarita believes that every effort starts with the courage to begin.

Bendady has been in the hospitality industry for almost 30 years , including the last 15 years in C-level. He is passionate in developing people and bring them to be the leaders in the organization. Bendady also Certified Professional Coach in Transformative Coaching. With his extensive experience and network , he will contribute to the bring Cakap as the leading EduTech in language and upskill in hospitality

Mr. Djony Rosnipa serves as PT Cerdas Digital Nusantara's Senior Vice President Finance and Legal since 2022.

He obtained Bachelor in Economics from Universitas Tarumanagara, Indonesia and MBA from University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia. Prior to Cakap, he held senior management roles in some digital business entities, such as: COO Antardesa.id, Director Lippo Venturra, CFO Qrim.id, CFO Mataharimall.com and also as the set up team for Ovo.id and Mbiz.id. He also spent as Vice President Corporate Finance, Banking & Special Projects from 2014 until 2021 at PT Multipolar, tbk. Some other senior management roles were obtained during his services at some of prominent companies such as: Fuji leasing, Universal music, Maersk, FedEx/RPX, TNT, AKR Group, ANZ Panin Bank, WorleyParsons and BAT Indonesia, where he served as GMs or CFOs.

Cecillia Ong is currently the Vice President of the CEO Office for Cakap. She has more than eight years of working experience in communication, strategy, and corporate. Cecillia joined Cakap in 2019 and contributed to many strategic projects and led new program initiatives for Cakap. Before joining the team, Cecillia worked for a media group for four years and is passionate about strategic planning, business development, and communication roles. Cecilia holds a Bachelor of International Business and Management, a Master of Marketing Communications, and is known as a competent communicator.

Krishna Varma brings over 20 years of experience to Cakap, spanning a mix of enterprise and product development. Krishna spearheaded product development and engineering for several companies. He oversees engineering teams and enjoys building high-performing technical teams and leading them to deliver technology products and solutions via painstakingly built methodologies. He is passionate about solving human problems using evolving technologies.

Felix has more than 10 years of working experience in business development, strategy, and growth. Over the course of his career, he has helped multiple enterprises from wide-ranging industries, from diversified conglomerates to hospitality and technology, all to achieve meaningful business objectives and growth. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Macquarie University.

David has been working in the tech industry since 2012. He started his journey as a Software Engineer and later opted to involve more in product management. David is known for his knowledge about uncertainty and risk of business from various experiences during his postgraduate study and his time in an incubator and startups. Technology, coding, and learning have always been his passions. David enjoys helping people learn to code and product management in his spare time.

With 10 years of hands-on business development experience in various industries including education technology, constructions, project investment and managing various governmental and ESG projects. Siti is responsible for the commerce activities to achieve breakthrough performance, coach and lead business teams on developing complex and comprehensive project deals for domestic, global, governmental clients. She is also in charge of the establishment and strategic relationship and alliances with clients and partners from various backgrounds, including governments. Siti holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Fachhochschule Südwestfalen, Germany and a Bachelor of Economics from Swiss German University, Indonesia.

Anissa has more than five years of experience in the partnership field, which she has started since graduating from university. Anissa initiated most of the partnerships Cakap now has among industries such as telco, governments, communities, ride-hailing, and foundations. Anissa holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Multimedia Nusantara university.

Stefanny joined Cakap in October 2019 handling Finance, Accounting and Tax Department. She is responsible for allocating resources and managing cash flows, overseeing the budget, conduct profit cost analysis, conduct risk management. Prior to joining Cakap, she spent 5 years working in consulting firm as public accountant namely: Ernst and Young and RSM Indonesia. She performs audit of financial statement from various industry such as healthcare, manufacture, hotel e-commerce.

Experienced Human Resources with a demonstrated history of working in the entertainment industry, insurance broker and distribution. Strong human resources professional skilled in Talent Management, Performance Management, Personnel Management, Organizational Development, and HR Policies.

Yoshua has more than 10 years experience in both formal and non formal education. His passion in educational technology led him to start an education service with the scope of K-12, overseas education, and enterprise e-learning platform. He brings his expertise and insight in academic management, curriculum and instructional design to deliver a meaningful and effective learning architecture throughout Cakap.

Nery has been an accomplished entrepreneur, English trainer, and teacher for 14+ years in the ESL industry. A proven visionary leader with extensive experience in building service excellence strategic plans. She is driven to inspire and empower others in business and education to attain growth and excellence. Her expertise includes curriculum design and management, data analysis, interpretation, and implementation. She enjoys generating new ideas and devising feasible solutions to broadly relevant problems. She’s described as driven, resourceful, and has a very proactive attitude.
