IELTS Preparation
Course Overview
The IELTS Preparation Course focuses on Academic and General Training skills, with the goal of preparing students to take the IELTS test successfully. Throughout the course, the students will be exposed effectively to a variety of IELTS topics and strategies for speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The lessons cover examination skills and techniques for improving all aspects necessary in mastering the IELTS examination.

IELTS Speaking Strategies
The IELTS Speaking Test Preparation Course is aimed at helping students understand the IELTS speaking test mechanics and format as well as the rubrics for each of the band scores. The course provides details at the three parts of the test and learn about the four criteria that will be used to assess your spoken English. It will cover strategies on how you can answer and develop your answers to every type of question. Moreover, the course will help students evaluate the band descriptors and see what you need to do to impress regarding English grammar and pronunciation. Finally, we’ll delve into part 3 of the speaking test and you’ll get to do a practice interview.

Mechanics and Question Types

The IELTS Reading Test Preparation Course is designed to help students understand the mechanics and format of the IELTS Reading test as well as the rubrics for each band score. Students will explore the format of the test and the kinds of text they need to read, and develop learning strategies to help them tackle the different task types, from multiple choice to true, false, and not given. The course will cover general reading strategies that will help you cope with the kind of complex texts on unfamiliar topics that you’ll meet in your IELTS studies.

IELTS Writing Strategies
The IELTS Writing Test Preparation Course is designed to help students understand the mechanics and format of the IELTS Writing test as well as the rubrics for each band score. Student will explore the test format and develop strategies for each type of task and discover how the assessments work. Student will gain an introduction to charts and data, where you’ll learn how to write about numbers and compare numerical data. This part of the course will also involve you learning the proper language to describe dynamic graphs and tables. The course will also tackle essay writing, which is an important part of task 2 of the writing exam. Student will learn to generate, develop and organise your ideas into a clear plan in order to answer the question at hand. Using the plan, student will discover how to create an effective and organized essay, with a strong introduction and conclusion. The course will also cover how to write in a more formal style, and go over how grammatical range and accuracy is assessed.
