Jakarta, 23 Oktober 2020 – PT Sele Raya Belida (SRB) which is engaged in the Oil and Gas sector and under the auspices of SKK Migas, collaborates with Cakap to distribute Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assistance in the form of Gadget facilities, internet quota, to 50 students who are in the work environment.
The CSR assistance program for 50 students, consisting of 10 elementary students, 20 junior high school students, and 20 high school students, was held by PT SRB in the multipurpose building of the Gelumbang sub-district, Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, Friday (23/10).
“The activities of the online-based English education program during the Covid-19 pandemic, collaborated with Cakap, in addition to that, we also gave the facilitators six months for this online learning process in the form of wire, Infocus, and microphone,” said Dani Yuliana on the sidelines of distributing gadgets.
Dani also explained that the assistance program organized by his party was a form of concern for the education of school children, especially amid the current Covid-19 pandemic. And the plus point for this elementary school child is English lessons so that when they enter junior high school they already understand English lessons.
“So we made a CSR program in the form of online learning and collaboration with Cakap,” said Dani in his speech.
Dani added this online learning program was held for six months, and in this program, each student will be given gadget facilities in the form of advance and internet quota.
“But after six months the facilities we provide will become the property of the students,” said Dani while expressing his gratitude to the facilitators from Cakap and their members who have supported the program.
Meanwhile, the Head of Gelumbang Sub-district, Syarkowi S. Sos, also expressed his gratitude to PT SRB for helping school children in the Gelumbang sub-district through an online English language education program during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Once again, we would like to thank PT SRB, which has provided facilities and equipment to support education, both during the Covid-19 pandemic and in the future,” said the Head of Gelumbang Sub-District in his speech.
This CSR distribution activity was attended by Danramil 404-01 Gelumbang, represented by Serma P. Manulang, Head of Gelumbang Sub-District, PT SRB, and Guardian Students.
