The Jakmania Central Committee Invites 74,870 Members to Study Online for Free on the Cakap Application

Jakarta, August 13 th , 2020 – Who doesn’t know Jakmania. As one of the most influential supporter groups with the biggest fanbase in Indonesia, the Jakmania has been a community forum for supporting Persija since 1997. According to the Jakmania Central Committee, it currently has around 74,870 members with more than 200 regional coordinators across Indonesia.

Currently, Jakmania is cooperating with educational startup Cakap to initiate special programs to help improve life skills for all its members, of which more than 70% are of productive age ranging from 15 to 27 years.

Hoping to bring a positive social impact, Jakmania Central Committee and Cakap coordinate a series of English learning activities with professional teachers for free within a certain period of time for all members of the Jakmania. In addition, Cakap and the Jakmania also coordinate an additional skill set training program that will help Jakmania members to gain more knowledge and skills beneficial for their work life.

These activities will start in September and registration will be opened on August 15 th via all regional coordinators of Jakmania. The Jakmania Central Committee and Cakap hopes that this program will help all members of the Jakmania to improve the quality of human resources in facing difficult times. Apart from that, they also hope that their members will fill the void in football activities by carrying out positive activities.

According to Diky Soemarno, General Chairman of the Jakmania Central Committee, “This program is in accordance with the vision and mission of Jakmania management in developing the organization both internally and externally. I hope this program can help all members of the Jakmania in improving their abilities through the current difficult situation. ”

According to the CEO of Cakap, Tomy Yunus, “We, from Cakap really appreciate the initiative of The Jakmania Central Committee who cares about improving the abilities of all members of the Jakmania. We hope that the solutions we have developed at Cakap can help realize the mission of Jakmania in improving Human Resources. Especially in foreign language skills to support Indonesians to become Global Citizens.”
